Job summary

Celebrity Cruises is seeking an experienced CDP Baker to lead the shipboard bakery team and manage daily production for onboard dining outlets.

You will ensure quality bread production, forecast demand, and maintain cost controls while complying with health and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership in a multicultural setting and hands-on kitchen management aboard the vessel.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum as a CDP Baker in upscale hospitality or cruise ship.
• Culinary school degree required.
• Strong management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of guest service standards and buffet operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures smooth operation of the Bakery Shop and daily production according to policies.
• Directs, coaches, supports, supervises, and evaluates direct reports.
• Responsible for production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus.
• Prepares production forecasts and records leftovers to control waste and costs.
• Supervise setup of bread display in buffets.
• Ensures compliance with USPH rules and regulations daily.
