Job summary

Celebrity Cruises is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to oversee shipboard bakery operations and daily production, ensuring high quality bread for daily menus. You will coach and supervise the bakery team, forecast production, and control food costs in a multicultural cruise environment.

The role requires strong management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with solid experience as a CDP Baker in hospitality or cruise ship settings.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as CDP Baker in upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or banqueting service (shipboard preferred).
• Culinary school degree required.
• Strong management, communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation and control of Bakery Shop and daily production per policies.
• Direct, coach, supervise, and evaluate reports with Head Baker.
• Oversee production quality and presentation of bread assortment for daily menus.
• Prepare production forecasts and record leftovers to control food costs.
• Supervise bread display setup in buffets.
• Ensure compliance with USPH rules and regulations daily.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness per Executive Chef schedule and protect equipment.
