Job summary

Celebrity Cruises seeks an experienced CDP Baker to lead bakery operations aboard ship, ensuring daily production aligns with menu needs and quality standards. You will coach staff, manage forecasting, and uphold USPH rules while maintaining cost controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience as a CDP Baker in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).
• A culinary school degree is required.
• Very strong management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
• Very strong communication, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bakery shop operations and daily production according to company policies.
• Coach, supervise, and evaluate direct reports with the Head Baker.
• Ensure production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus.
• Prepare production forecasts and monitor leftovers to control costs and waste.
