Metroline Manchester is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Bus Mechanic to inspect, diagnose and maintain buses to maximize availability. You will join the Engineering Team reporting to the Engineering Manager and work with mechanics and specialists across depots in Hyde Road, Tameside, Sharston and Wythenshawe.

As an integral member of the Metroline Manchester Engineering Team you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and collaborating with other mechanics and engineering specialists across the business. The primary responsibility as a Vehicle Technician / Bus Mechanic is to inspect, diagnose and maintain vehicles to the highest standard to achieve maximum vehicle availability. As a Vehicle Technician / Bus Mechanic you are responsible for working in a safe manner as stated in current legislation and ELBG policies and procedures.
Permanent Contract – basic 38 hours per week.
