Job summary

Stagecoach is seeking a PCV Body Maker for the Stockport Depot to join a small team of engineers responsible for maintenance and repair of a modern, varied fleet. The role offers guaranteed hours with overtime potential and a mix of depot and road work to keep vehicles safe and reliable for passengers commuting daily.

• You need to have an engineering background with a vehicular focus – bus, HGV/LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm – if it moves, it’s good experience!
• You need to want to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repair

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs a modern and varied fleet of vehicles at Stockport Depot.
• You may be out and about dealing with vehicle issues on the road, not always depot-based.

PCV Body Maker - Stockport Depot

We are looking for an experienced Body Maker to join our Stockport Depot team.

Typical annualised earnings of £40,000+ remuneration based on combination of hourly rate, allowances, typical hours and overtime

Guaranteed 38 minimum hours with overtime available

You'll be joining a small team of engineers at Stockport Depot who maintains and repairs a modern and varied fleet of vehicles so our fantastic customers can travel safely and comfortably every day to healthcare and employment, to shopping and leisure, and to see friends and family.
