Qualifications

  • Proven experience within Renewable Energy, Power Generation or similar industries.
  • Hold an HSE qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Ideally hold a CHP, Boiler licence or other relevant power plant accreditation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the plant.
  • Oversee a Shift Team of Operators.
  • Ensure all health and safety is upheld.
  • Provide technical reports and maintain up-to-date records.

Skills

Experience in Renewable Energy
HSE qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Plant Operation knowledge

Education

NVQ in Plant Mechanics/Maintenance

Alecto Recruitment are working with a Renewable Energy Company seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We are currently looking for a Shift Team Leader with relevant experience to work on a shift basis within a Biomass Facility in Milton Keynes.

  • £36,000 Basic Salary.
  • £2,000 Shift Allowance.
  • 4on / 4off Shift Pattern - Days and Nights.
  • Vast Amount Of Training And A Clear Progression Route.
Job Brief
  • To support with the day-to-day operation of the plant.
  • To contribute to the day-to-day operation of the site.
  • Oversee a Shift Team of Operators.
  • Undertake planned and unplanned maintenance on site when necessary.
  • Ensure all health and safety is upheld.
  • Provide technical reports and maintain records are up to date and relevant.
  • Using SCADA to monitor the plant.
  • Assist management and other staff with plant running.
Requirements
  • Proven experience within Renewable Energy, Power Generation, or similar industries.
  • Should hold some form of HSE qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • Willingness to get involved all aspects of Plant Operation including using Plant Equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Ideally would hold a CHP, Boiler licence or other relevant power plant accreditation or knowledge.
  • NVQ or equivalent in Plant Mechanics/Maintenance.
The Person

This role would suit a motivated person with experience within an associated Heavy Industrial environment. Ideally someone hard working and willing to get hands on and learn.
