Job summary

Linde in Swindon is seeking a production shift supervisor to lead daily operations, deliver targets and meet customer requirements while maintaining safety, quality and environmental standards.

You will develop the production team through coaching, monitor KPIs, drive improvements, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality and Planning to optimise plant performance. A proven supervisory background in manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• You have previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills round up your profile.
• You have a good understanding of production processes, safety requirements, and operational KPIs.
• Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to safely deliver production targets and customer requirements.
• Drive compliance with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
• Further, you will manage and develop production team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Monitoring and improving productivity, efficiency, and labour performance across the shift will be part of your role.
• You will identify and resolve operational issues to minimise downtime and maintain output.
• You will collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Planning teams to optimise plant performance.
• Further, you will champion continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve processes.
• Communicating shift performance, key issues, and priorities through accurate reporting and effective handovers will be part of your role.
