Job summary

Linde AMT UK Limited is seeking a Production Manager in Swindon to lead coating operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The role focuses on planning, daily execution, and continuous improvement across OEE, labour, and materials, while driving Lean and 6S practices within a regulated environment.

We value a degree in engineering or manufacturing, 3–5 years of leadership experience, and a track record of measurable improvements. Strong Lean/Six Sigma credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or equivalent leadership experience.
• 3–5 years leading production teams in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Proven track record delivering improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity.
• Experience in production planning, capacity management, and customer-driven production schedules.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, MDI, Leadership Standard Work, visual management.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; IOSH/NEBOSH; AS9100 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Operational Excellence in the coating operation.
• Own production planning to align resources with demand.
• Lead daily execution of the production plan to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity goals.
• Lead daily performance reviews on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and CI metrics.
• Drive improvements in key business measures and sustain Standard Plant through Leadership Standard Work and 6S.
