Job summary

Greggs plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a busy shop, ensuring customers have an excellent experience across channels. You’ll look after the shop when the Manager isn’t around, engage and motivate the team, and keep displays stocked and the shop clean and presentable.

The role requires reliable leadership and a passion for customer service; previous supervisory experience in a similar environment is welcomed.

• Support an inclusive culture and work well in a team supervisory role.
• Experience supervising a customer-focused team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable
