Job summary

The Horse & Jockey, part of Mitchells & Butlers, is recruiting for a Shift Supervisor. You will welcome guests, lead a frontline team and drive great service with a passion for training people. Join a pub brand known for community warmth and great dining experiences.

As a shift supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety, ensuring guests feel welcomed and well-served. Flexible shifts offered with team camaraderie.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles.
• Proven ability to lead a team and train staff.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Be part of day-to-day site operations; host guests and lead your team.
• Lead shifts and ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Model and mentor team members, delivering on training.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
