Job summary

Talent Finder is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Birkenhead site in Wirral. This full-time role covers weekend shifts, Saturday and Sunday, 06:00 to 18:00, overseeing production from blending to despatch.

You’ll lead a small team, ensure quality and delivery targets, maintain records, and drive continual improvement in a busy manufacturing environment. The role requires good communication, strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth running of the production area

Shift Supervisor | Birkenhead, Wirral | Full Time | £15.46 per hour

Our client is a privately owned company specialising in producing and supplying household laundry and cleaning products. They supply national and international customers with their own brand of laundry and cleaning products.

They have laboratory, blending and packing facilities at their Birkenhead premises to produce household, laundry and cleaning products. They develop, scale up and produce all formulations in-house.

Our client develops formulations to match briefs from customers, which are then blended and packaged at their manufacturing facilities in Birkenhead.

The Role

They are seeking full-time Shift Supervisors to join their expanding team at their production site in Birkenhead, Wirral.

The working hours are Saturday and Sunday, 06:00 to 18:00.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth running of the production area
• Co-ordinating all aspects of manufacturing from blending to packaging and despatch
• Ensuring business needs regarding quality, delivery and production deadlines are met
• Ensuring that all records are correctly completed
• Maximising the output of the shift
• Motivating the shift and problem-solving on a day-to-day basis
• Developing and upskilling the team to achieve the production plan

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the Company
