Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is assisting with a Production Shift Manager vacancy at our Holton Heath site. The role leads a small team on the AM shift, owns shift performance and ensures output, quality and safety standards are met.

You will manage around 7 production staff, operate and supervise machinery when needed, open and close the site, and drive improvements with hands-on leadership and clear accountability on a fast-paced factory floor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or shift management role within manufacturing or production.
• Hands-on experience operating production machinery.
• Confident managing people, including absence and performance.
• Strong understanding of health and safety on a production floor.
• Organised, decisive and comfortable taking responsibility for a site.
• Own transport preferred, due to the Holton Heath location and early start.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all production operations on the AM shift, driving output, quality and efficiency.
• Running and operating production machinery alongside the team when required.
• Leading, supervising and motivating a team of around 7 production staff.
• Opening and closing the site securely at the start and end of each shift.
• Managing sickness, absence and attendance, including return-to-work conversations and records.
• Taking ownership of shift performance, resolving issues quickly and escalating where needed.

Production Shift Manager | £35,000 per annum | Holton Heath

Take full ownership of a production shift as a Production Shift Manager, with the ability to supervise your own team and achieve production targets.You'll run the floor from open to close, leading a team of around 7 and making the calls that keep output on track.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions directly shape how the shift performs.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday - 7am to 3:30pm
