Job summary

Workforce Recruitment Group Limited in West Sussex, South East England, is seeking an experienced Shift Team Leader to oversee the production team during your shift, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

You will provide clear instructions, manage production priorities, support team members and elevate safety, quality, equipment and production issues as they arise, with overtime opportunities and a supportive working environment.

• Lead and support the production team throughout the shift
• Conduct effective shift handovers and communicate priorities
• Allocate work and support production targets
• Ensure production activities are completed safely and efficiently
• Ensure team members follow drawings, specifications and procedures
• Maintain high standards of quality and Health & Safety
• Identify and elevate production, quality and equipment issues
• Support training, competency development and multi-skilling
• Maintain good housekeeping and workplace standards
• Communicate effectively with Production Management and other departments
• Support continuous improvement and reliable production flow

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production professional to take on a Shift Team Leader role within an established and growing manufacturing business in West Sussex, South East England.

Location: West Sussex, South East England

Salary: £19.85 per hour

Role type: Full Time

Hours: 12-hour rotating shifts, averaging 42 hours per week, with overtime available

Shift pattern: 3 days on, 3 days off, 3 nights on, 3 days off

Right to Work: RTW in the UK required

About the Role

As a Shift Team Leader, you will lead and support the production team throughout your shift, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
