Samworth Brothers is seeking a Production Shift Manager to lead a shift in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will direct Team Leaders and operatives, ensure the daily plan is executed safely, and drive performance on quality, cost and delivery.

You will coach teams, solve problems quickly, and maintain GMP and allergen controls while communicating across shifts to align production with targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in food manufacturing or another fast-moving production setting.
• Strong people skills and the ability to motivate and develop others.
• Good understanding of production processes, safety and quality.

Responsabilités

• Lead Team Leaders and operatives to deliver the shift plan safely and efficiently.
• Ensure shift targets for safety, quality, people and performance are met.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following health & safety standards.
• Manage labour for the shift, including allocation, absence cover and agency needs.
• Solve issues such as downtime, shortages or delays and escalate when needed.
• Support colleague development through coaching, feedback and on-shift training.
• Maintain high standards of GMP, allergen control and food safety.
• Review shift performance and share updates with Managers and support teams.
