Job summary
Samworth Brothers in the United Kingdom is seeking an Area Manager to lead production teams, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery of our food manufacturing output.
You will coach Team Leaders, drive improvements, monitor KPIs and partner with other functions to resolve issues and support customer needs.

Qualifications
- You are a resilient and credible leader with experience of coaching and developing teams in a chilled or high care food environment.
- You are confident in finding solutions, thinking ahead and making clear decisions under pressure.
- You understand food safety requirements (HACCP Level 3) and IOSH Standards.
- You have a solid grasp of production processes, KPIs and operational planning in a fast paced setting.
- You communicate well, build strong working relationships and manage performance in a fair and consistent way.
Responsibilities
- Guide Team Leaders and colleagues so that the daily plan is delivered safely and efficiently.
- Maintain safety, quality and process standards and make sure they're followed consistently.
- Monitor performance, review data and take action where improvements are needed.
- Communicate openly, coach your team and support wellbeing, performance and attendance.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve issues, support improvements and deliver good service.
