Job summary

Borden Dairy is seeking a team‑oriented Production Supervisor to provide shift‑level leadership across all production operations. This role coordinates people, processes, and equipment to achieve maximum efficiency while ensuring the production of safe, high‑quality products.

The Production Supervisor develops employees, supports continuous improvement, and reinforces a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with experience training, mentoring, and developing employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly production employees to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations.
• Support the Production Manager with training, coaching, performance assessment, and workforce scheduling.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving.
• Evaluate production data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Prioritize and assign daily workload to meet production goals and customer requirements.
