Job summary

Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will coach staff, manage resources, and support audits while maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and customers. The role is based on a 40-hour week with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ relevant food manufacturing experience leading teams.
• Basic food hygiene and team leadership qualifications.
• Experience with HACCP, allergens and processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resources (plant, labour, materials) are in place to deliver the production plan.
• Report issues to the Shift Manager and implement improvement opportunities.
• Lead, coach and motivate staff to achieve performance and efficiency targets.
• Maintain GMP, health & safety, and customer specifications.
• Address audits and drive root-cause analysis for long-term solutions.
• Deliver regular shift briefs focusing on quality, cost and improvements.
