Job summary

FBC UK, Fox's Burton's Companies, is recruiting a Shift Operations Manager for our Blackpool bakery. You will be responsible for delivering the site production plan while keeping our people safe, well and competent.

You will develop a continuous improvement culture, drive high performance, deliver site budgets and ensure customer satisfaction through reliable production and quality records. This role is on-site with a continental pattern shift.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a production area/multiple lines in a 24/7 environment.
• Experience in a traditional employee relations climate/heavily unionised environment.
• Proven track record in driving continuous improvement and line capability.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and deliver the site labour Standard, managing overtime figures within budget.
• Ensure staff are trained to run lines efficiently and to legal requirements.
• Keep our people safe, conduct Risk Assessments, Safety Inspections and Accident Investigations to the correct standard and timescales.
• Execution of the Production Plan and monitoring of Efficiency, Waste and TOS in line with targets.
• Keep Plant audit-ready and maintain Hygiene standards.
