Job summary

FBC UK, Fox's Burton's Companies, is looking for a Shift Operations Manager at our Blackpool bakery to lead the production plan, keep people safe and competent, and drive a culture of continuous improvement to meet budget and customer satisfaction.

You will have proven experience in a 24/7 production environment, operate in a traditional unionised setting, and drive improvements in line capability, waste reduction, and team development.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a production area/multiple lines in a 24/7 environment.
• Experience of operating in a traditional employee relations climate/heavily Unionised environment.
• Experience of working within a continuous improvement culture.
• Proven results of improving line capability (efficiency, reduction of waste etc.).
• Experience of maximising the potential of others including development and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the site production plan and manage overtime within budget.
• Ensure our people are trained to run lines safely and to legal requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, deliver site budgets and keep customers happy.
