Job summary

Rich Products Corporation seeks a Multi-Skilled Operations Engineer to maintain and improve plant machinery, executing breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance while driving safety, quality, and compliance across the site in Andover.

You will support CI initiatives, participate in project work, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance machine reliability and OEE through data-driven improvements and procedural discipline.

Qualifications

• Proven reliability/production engineering experience in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Strong electrical, mechanical and pneumatic understanding with full RCAs.
• CI/Lean principles to drive operational improvements.
• Able to read/update electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation e.g., LOLER, PUWER, PAT, Electricity at Work, COSHH.
• Knowledge PLC technology.
• Completion apprenticeship or graduate scheme.
• Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• IEE 18th Edition certification.
• LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown repairs and carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Contribute to project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, legal, and customer standards.
• Aim to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by reducing breakdowns.
• Record data accurately to support analysis and regulatory records.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, technical, and hygiene teams to ensure smooth workflow.
