Job summary

Marshalls plc is seeking a Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Pollington, Goole. You will maintain production lines to minimise downtime, fault-find efficiently and perform planned and reactive maintenance on robotic and automated plant.

The role operates Monday to Friday with two shifts (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) and a salary of £49,404 per annum plus benefits. The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical skills, hands-on experience and a time-served background in a similar position.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical working knowledge.
• Time-served in a similar role, ideally NVQ 3 or equivalent.
• Apprentice-trained desirable.
• Experience with robots and automated process plant.
• Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication and machining.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous production by fault finding and maintenance.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance on systems controlling hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors.
