Job summary

Marshalls plc, Pollington site, is seeking a Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure continuous production through fault finding and maintenance of equipment on-site. The role operates on a rotating shift (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm), Monday to Friday, to keep lines running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical experience, a time-served background or NVQ Level 3, and exposure to robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and reading drawings.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 level or time-served qualification in a similar maintenance role.
• Apprentice-trained is preferred.
• Experience with robotics and automated plant.
• Skilled in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication, and general machining.
• Ability to read technical drawings and fault-find hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through fault finding and maintenance of equipment; reactive engineering activities on site.
