Job summary

Marshalls plc, a leading UK manufacturer of building, roofing and landscaping solutions, invites applications for a Mechanical Engineer at Pollington, Goole. The role offers £44,914 per annum plus benefits, with Monday–Friday hours and flexible scheduling.

You will help keep production running by fault finding and maintaining equipment on site, applying a safe, logical approach to maintenance and downtime reduction, while working with electrical systems, hydraulics and conveyors.

Qualifications

• Qualified, time served in a similar position (ideally NVQ 3)
• Apprentice trained and 18th edition wiring regulations knowledge
• PLC fault finding would be advantageous
• Experience with robots and automated process plant/machinery
• Reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems controlling hydraulics/pneumatics and conveyors; able to read technical drawings

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous production by eliminating downtime through fault finding and maintenance on site
• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and automation to keep processes running smoothly
