CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Days Only) for a premier FM service provider in Central London. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance of building services in a high-spec commercial office, with day shifts from 7:00 to 19:00 at Blackfriars.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems, diagnose faults quickly, maintain records, and ensure spare parts availability.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (Level 3)
• Experience in commercial building maintenance, ideally in critical environments
• Strong mechanical knowledge with multi-skilled capabilities
• Experience with HVAC, chillers, pumps, AHUs, and building plant systems
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works via the maintenance system
• Hands-on maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose and resolve plant faults quickly to minimise downtime
• Conduct regular quality checks on work, documentation and housekeeping standards
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and job sheets

Mechanical Engineer (Days Only) – FM Service Provider – Blackfriars, Central London – £53,000 per annum

A leading facilities management service provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join a prestigious, high-spec commercial office building in the heart of the City of London. This modern, multi-tenant development offers state-of-the-art infrastructure and is ideally located near major financial institutions and excellent transport links. This is a hands-on engineering role, ideal for a technically strong engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, critical environment. You will be fully involved in day-to-day engineering tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of all building services.

Working Hours

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

(Days Only - 2s & 3s) Panama Shift

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
