Job summary

Iceland Foods is hiring a Shift Manager who will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement when you shift manage the store. You will support the management team to deliver consistent results and strive to be the best place to shop and work.

Key duties include delivering great customer availability, promoting value messages, and ensuring store standards while developing the team and maintaining inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver great service.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by ensuring great product availability for customers.
• Drive sales with in-store promotions and value messaging.
• Deliver on actions set by the line manager.
• Support Talking Shop Rep and team engagement in-store.
• Contribute to an inclusive culture and up-skill colleagues.
• Follow cash handling and security policies and processes.
• Lead shift planning and hands-on management to deliver a great store.
