Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd is seeking a committed Shift Manager to join our store team. You will support the management team to deliver consistent results and be the best place to shop and work.

You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store. In this role you will maximise availability for customers, drive sales with store actions, develop colleagues, and ensure cash handling and security comply with policy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues to complete store tasks.
• Experience in planning and organising shifts with the team.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Capable of leading a team on shift to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit with focus on great store availability.
• Engage and retain great people; support Talking Shop Rep and inclusivity.
• Follow daily processes, cash handling, and security policies.
