Job summary

SearchWorks is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead sortation operations at our London site. You will own a busy shift, manage a frontline team and ensure safety, productivity, quality and service targets are met.

The role requires leadership within warehousing/logistics, strong KPI focus, and the ability to make practical decisions under pressure while using data to drive improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in warehousing or logistics environments.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs and targets.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee parcel-sortation operations during your shift.
• Lead, motivate and coach a frontline team of operatives.
• Allocate people and resources to meet demand.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training.
• Maintain and improve health and safety standards.
• Monitor performance data and address issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.
