Job summary

DHL Northampton is seeking a Warehouse Night Shift Manager to lead our night operations, ensuring efficient warehouse functions and rigorous safety standards. The role commands a 4 on/4 off pattern with 12-hour nights, and a base pay of £39,500 plus a 20% shift premium.

The position is full-time and based in Northampton. Applicants should bring 2–3 years’ experience as a Warehouse Shift Manager in logistics, with a track record in coaching teams, cost control, and performance improvement.

• Have proven experience as a Warehouse Shift Manager within a busy logistics environment / 2-3 Years.
• Have proven experience in developing and training a team of managers.
• Have performance mindset & operational excellence to drive a culture focused on quality, accuracy, cost control, and performance and efficiency—not just volume.
• Have experience in cultural change and continuous improvement.

Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off / 18:00 -06:00 / Nights

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have proven experence as a Warehouse Shift Manager within a busy logistics environment / 2-3 Years.
• Have proven experience in developing and training a team of manages.
• Have performance mindset & operational excellence to drive a culture focused on quality, accuracy, cost control, and performance and efficiency—not just volume.
• Have experence cultural change and continuous improvement.
• Must understand and manage cost-to-serve, productivity, and performance.
• Have experence in change management and continuous improvement.
• Will work with HRBP, Health & Safety, resource planners and other managers.
• Will be responsible for five First Line Managers.
• Happy to work on a rotational shift 4 on 4 off.
• Happy to work 12 hrs shifts for 4 days
• Happy to work during the Nighst shift 18:00 -6:00
