Job summary

Greggs is looking for a Shift Manager in the Retail West region. You’ll support the shop when the Manager isn’t around, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service across in-store, delivery, and online orders.

Typical duties include inspiring the team, serving customers quickly, preparing products, stocking displays, and keeping the shop clean. The role offers a 20-hour contract with a pay rate of £13.80 per hour and various colleague benefits.

• Previous supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication and team-motivation skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare products, including making sandwiches and managing ovens.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked with plenty of choice for customers.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.
