Job summary

Airparks, part of the Holiday Extras Group, is seeking a Shift Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a busy airport car park in the Midlands. You will motivate and develop a frontline team, ensuring exceptional service while promoting our core values of ownership, teamwork and customer trust.

In this fast-paced, passenger-focused environment you will deploy resources effectively, handle at-speed decisions, and drive performance through coaching, 1-2-1s and regular appraisals.

Qualifications

• Experience in people management and developing high performance.
• High levels of emotional intelligence with resilience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Full UK Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operation of a busy airport car park and lead from the front.
• Engage and inspire team members; ensure customers feel valued and listened to.
• Deploy resources effectively; optimise shift coverage and service delivery.
• Drive performance through coaching, 1-2-1s, appraisals and team development.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and safety.

We’re looking for a fantastic people manager to join our diverse and dynamic team as a Shift Manager. As a Shift Manager, you will have ownership of the day to day operation of a busy airport car park. You will need to be able to engage and inspire members of the team, driving forwards the core principles of the business - Great Service, Ownership, Team Spirit, Innovation and Trust. You will ensure that the customer remains at the forefront of everything you do.

Working for Airparks no two shifts are ever the same, so you will be someone who can lead from the front, make a positive contribution through effective deployment of resources and get the best from your people through great communication skills together with utilising 1-2-1s, appraisals and team development.
