Job summary

Morrisons is hiring a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced warehouse operation in Wakefield. You will manage Team Managers and warehouse colleagues to ensure correct products are picked at pace and sent to stores on time.

You will schedule rotas, control costs, coach your team, drive continuous improvement, and develop Team Managers. The role offers career progression, pension, healthcare, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Shift Manager or equivalent in a fast paced Warehouse, Distribution or Logistics environment.
• Proven experience in a people management role with the ability to deliver strong results through a team.
• Demonstrated the ability to problem solve, and implement process changes to improve operational performance.
• Experience of managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills in order to engage motivate and develop large teams with varying skill sets.
