Job summary

Morrisons is recruiting a Warehouse Team Manager for our Distribution site in Sittingbourne. The role involves leading a fast-paced FMCG logistics team across goods in, picking and loading, ensuring smooth operations in a 24/7 environment.

Candidates should bring proven warehouse leadership and a focus on actionable improvements. The successful candidate will coach and develop the team, set targets, review progress, and drive solutions to operational challenges while delivering excellent service

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a warehouse or logistics FMCG environment.
• Team management experience is desirable but not essential.
• Coaching and guidance to develop talent within the team.
• Ability to set targets and review progress, creating performance plans.

Responsibilities

• Engage and communicate with the team to ensure efficient operations across goods in, pick and loading.
• Lead and develop colleagues to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Set targets, review progress and create improvement plans.
• Monitor KPIs and take action to meet or exceed them.
• Resolve operational problems and drive continuous improvement.

We are in a fantastic position to be offering Warehouse & Logistics Team Manager roles at our Distribution site where we have an onsite population in excess of 1000 colleagues across a 24/7 operation.

Your role as our Warehouse Team Manager, will be to engage and communicate with your team to ensure that it works efficiently in all areas such as goods in, pick and loading. You will do this through your expert experience having managed a fast paced FMCG logistics or warehouse team previously and you will be focused on managing your people to deliver the best possible service to your customers.
