Job summary

The Quarter Jack in Wells is seeking a Shift Manager to support the pub manager and run the shift. You will lead the team, respond to customers, handle cash and administration, and ensure standards across front and back of house.

You’ll work a 40-hour week with a starting salary of £29,013, plus a bonus scheme up to 25% of salary, 28 days of holiday, staff meals, and other benefits. We provide training and clear career progression into pub management.

A shift manager supports the pub manager and, when running a shift, takes responsibility for the pub`s operation. This includes motivating, supporting and organising the team, responding to customers, delegating tasks and working in all areas of the business, including in the kitchen and behind the bar.
