Job summary

J D Wetherspoon is seeking a Shift Manager for The Glassmaker, Nailsea. In this role you’ll support the pub manager, run shifts and ensure smooth operation across front of house, kitchen and bar.

You’ll lead and develop the team, deliver high standards of cleanliness, service and product quality, and take responsibility for cash handling and compliance. Offered training, benefits and a clear path to future pub management.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-focused role preferred.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends.

A shift manager supports the pub manager and, when running a shift, takes responsibility for the pub`s operation. This includes motivating, supporting and organising the team, responding to customers, delegating tasks and working in all areas of the business, including in the kitchen and behind the bar.
