GXO Logistics, Inc in Greenford is seeking a Senior Warehouse Operations Manager to drive operational excellence and lead large teams in a fast-paced, highly automated environment.

The role is full-time, permanent, with a 5-from-7 shift pattern (06:00–14:00). Flexibility to cover other shifts is required as part of logistics operations. Salary up to £49,152 per year, plus 33 days leave, pension, life assurance and access to benefits.

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team in Greenford, supporting our customer, Waitrose. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and developing a culture of continuous improvement, while working closely with First Line Managers and operational teams to deliver an outstanding performance and exceptional service to our customer.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working an any 5 from 7 shift pattern of 06:00 till 14:00. With this being a senior role, we do ask for some flexibility to support other shifts when required, this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of up to£49,152.00 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Ensure operational KPI targets are consistently achieved across productivity, service, cost and quality measures
• Deputise for the Lead Warehouse Operations Manager and Assistant General Manager when required
• Ensure strategic objectives are effectively communicated and understood throughout the operation
• Champion employee engagement and foster an inclusive, respectful workplace culture
• Lead, motivate and develop large operational teams to achieve business objectives

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Demonstrate drive, energy and a commitment to the continuous improvement of overall contract performance
• Strong understanding of warehouse performance metrics, resource planning and KPI management
• Ability to liaise effectively with customers, colleagues and third-party stakeholders to achieve operational objectives and service excellence
• Proactive, inquisitive and passionate about challenging teams to deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement
