We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Manager to help strengthen our depot operations management team.

In this role, you will work closely with our self-employed Owner Drivers (ODs) and Employed Drivers, building strong relationships, keeping drivers engaged, well-managed, and motivated to ensure outstanding service is delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Achieving depot targets for Core Routes and Stops Per Route (SPR)
• Properly setting all delivery & collection routes
• Ensuring drivers scan and load their vans safely, timely, and efficiently
• Maintaining communication with drivers to resolve issues
• Managing resources for ad-hoc collections via drivers or couriers
• Completing relevant documentation and systems accurately, complying with company and legislative requirements
• Setting and monitoring KPIs such as Service, Cost, Productivity, Transport, and Health and Safety
