Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Bridgwater is seeking a proactive Shift Manager to lead our warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and service excellence on site.

You’ll manage shift teams on a Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift pattern (06:00–18:00), oversee inventory control using WMS, and coordinate payroll updates in Oracle/Kronos while reporting to senior management and clients. Previous line management experience and a safety-first mindset are essential; CITB MAPS and a valid driving licence

• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft applications.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to drive operational excellence.
• CITB MAPS certification and a valid driving licence are desirable.

• Oversee inventory control using WMS, scan guns, and tablets for accuracy

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Shift Manager to lead our warehouse operations at our Bridgwater site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence every day.

At Hinkley Point C, we’re building two new nuclear reactors – the first in a new generation of power stations delivering zero-carbon electricity to six million homes. As a Tier One partner to Nuclear New Build (NNB), we provide essential warehousing and transportation services.

This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 06:00 to 18:00. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

• We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum
• 24 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
