Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to operate and repair Warrington plant equipment to OEM standards, ensuring availability for production and safety compliance. You will diagnose faults, provide technical troubleshooting, and support continuous improvement initiatives within a 12-hour shift framework.

The role emphasizes teamwork with an emphasis on safety and reliability. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong electrical/mechanical

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years’ experience in similar plant/equipment
• Substantial electrical and mechanical fitting skills; 18th Edition desirable
• Experience in automated extrusion/compounding environments desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Warrington plant to OEM standards
• Ensure plant availability per production plan and maintain safety compliance
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and escalate issues as needed
• Plan workloads to meet KPI targets and support capex projects
• Mentor apprentices and support engineering team development
