Job summary

LyondellBasell Warrington is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to maintain and repair plant, equipment and infrastructure to OEM standards and to ensure availability per production plans.

You will perform planned preventive and corrective maintenance, work safely, and provide technical advice in troubleshooting and problem solving, while supporting apprenticeship development and team skill growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar plant and equipment with minimum 5 years
• Able to read circuit diagrams and perform basic fault finding using PLCs, inverters & DC drives
• Experience in automated environments in extrusion & compounding is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant, infrastructure, equipment and assets to OEM standards
• Carry out planned preventative and corrective maintenance to support production plan
• Work safely complying with LYB OE standards, R&R and HSE regulations
• Provide technical advice in troubleshooting and problem solving
• Log all work and communicate with shift handovers and reports
• Assist in developing team skills including apprentices
