Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Industrial) for a Chester site. You will fault find, diagnose and repair industrial machinery, maintain PLC-controlled systems, and perform preventive maintenance on high-tech equipment within a rotating shift environment.

The role offers a Mon-Fri schedule with 25% shift allowance and opportunities for overtime, training and progression in a well-established manufacturing group.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance engineer with industrial experience.
• Experience with PLCs and controls.
• Willing to commute to Chester site.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery.
• Maintain and repair furnaces, conveyors, casting machines, and mixers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise breakdowns on PLC-controlled systems.
• Handle mechanical repairs including pumps, gears, bearings and hydraulics.
