Supervisor – Wellcome Genome Campus, Saffron Walden

Location: Wellcome Genome Campus, Saffron Walden

Contract Type: Perm | Hours: Full Time

About the Role

As Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations across our campus facilities. You’ll lead a team of skilled operatives and contractors, ensuring high standards of service delivery in areas such as maintenance, cleaning, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate FM services across the campus
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
• Manage contractors and service providers to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes
• Support planned and reactive maintenance activities
• Monitor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as a point of contact for FM-related queries and emergencies

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in facilities management or building services
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A proactive, solution-focused approach
• Knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
