ETS Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Shift Maintenance Engineer for a high-speed food manufacturing site near Crick. The role requires an apprentice-trained engineer with PLC and automated machinery experience, and a hands-on approach to maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

You will fault-find across motors, drives, conveyors and packaging equipment, working to preventative maintenance schedules and in a collaborative team or autonomously. A pension and benefits package is provided.

Competenze

• Minimum apprentice training in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with PLCs and automated machinery.
• Understanding of preventative maintenance (PPM) systems.
• Experience in Food/FMCG environments.

Mansioni

• Maintain production equipment in a high-speed automated environment, including flow wrappers, labeling machines, packaging lines and conveyors.
• Fault find on circuits, motors and drives; work within a team or autonomously.
• Longer-term progression opportunities within the company.

Shift Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £64,600 + Pension + Benefits

Location: Crick

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 12 Hour Days & Nights

Based within one of the UK's leading privately owned food manufacturing groups, they are an extremely well established manufacturing group with over 30 years of food production knowledge, and they are looking to recruit experienced maintenance engineers to add to their existing team.

The Role

You will have ideally served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working with equipment such as flow wrappers and labelling machines, together with packaging, conveyor systems, 3-phase, bagging machines, motors, drives and processing machinery within a high speed automated environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience of circuits, motors and drives within an automated environment and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment.
