Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd is recruiting an experienced maintenance engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing group in Stoke-on-Trent. The role covers four days on, four off, with day and night shifts, and involves maintaining high-speed automated production lines and PLC controlled equipment.

You will complete planned and preventative maintenance, support project-based work, fault-finding, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completed full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules in a high-speed automated environment.
• Experience with PLC controlled equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service high-speed automated production equipment.
• Participate in planned and preventative maintenance schedules and project work.

Based within one of the UKs leading FMCG manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team. The company is extremely secure having been established for over 200 years and currently being listed the London Stock Exchange , they are second to none in their chosen area of manufacturing expertise.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Automated of PLC systems & Automated machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment.

The ideal candidate will also ideally, but not essential, have experience of PLC controlled equipment and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required.You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment.Longer term opportunities are also available within this instantly recognisable group to progress your career, as there will be a chance to push yourself with on going training and development.
