Job summary

Hall & Woodhouse is seeking a Shift Leader to join The Seven Stars, a member of our family of pubs. The role focuses on leadership of day-to-day service, guest experience, and maintaining standards while supporting a collaborative team.

You will oversee opening/closing, safety, and guest service, with a clear career pathway to General Manager and a 60% meals discount. This is a dynamic, people-focused environment that rewards talent and dedication.

Qualifications

• A shift leader or assistant manager with experience in branded pubs.
• Kind, calm and approachable.
• Confident overseeing opening/closing, safety and security procedures.
• Well-presented, detail-focused and professional.
• Willing to support the GM in coaching and developing the team.
• Logical, organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Driven to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends and reliably manage the commute.
• A natural host who loves creating day making moments.

• Experienced in hospitality, with supervisory experience in a busy food-led environment.

Responsibilities

The pub joined the Hall and Woodhouse family in 1996 and was extended into the adjacent barns in 2003, doubling its size and providing a bright and airy table service dining room to complement the more traditional and informal dining areas of the original pub.
