Job summary

Wonderful Wheatsheaf, part of Hall & Woodhouse, near Salisbury, is seeking a Shift Leader to join a warm, supportive team. The role offers £13.70 per hour with tips, a 60% meal discount, and a clear career path toward General Manager within the Hall & Woodhouse family.

We value a friendly, professional host who can manage opening/closing, safety and guest experiences, while supporting the GM in coaching the team. Expect a 5-day week and a strong team ethic in a celebrated pub setting.

Qualifications

• A shift leader or assistant manager who is kind, calm and approachable.
• Confident overseeing opening/closing, safety and security procedures.
• Well-presented, detail-focused and professional.
• Willing to support the GM in coaching and developing the team
• Logical, organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Driven to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends and reliably manage the commute.
• A natural host who loves creating day making moments.

• Experienced in hospitality, ideally with supervisory experience in a busy food-led environment.
