Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Team Leader at the Battlefield Plastics Recycling Facility in Shrewsbury. You will oversee manufacturing processes, lead operatives across three rotating shifts, and maintain safe, compliant operations throughout the site.

This role requires prior team leadership experience and good health & safety knowledge. The shift pattern is 37.5 hours per week with a competitive salary and Veolia benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a similar team leader operations role.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee/maintain the working processes of the facility.
• Control PRF room operations.
• Lead operatives, motivating, assigning tasks and monitoring quality standards.
• Induct and monitor specific specialised contractors that are required to maintain the safe operations of the facility.
• Assist with investigating and reporting findings of process incidents and accidents.
• Ensure all environmental permitting and planning permission management practices are adhered to at all times.
• To ensure that faults on plant and machinery are reported.
• Supervise the facility in the absence of the process shift supervisor.
