Job summary

Veolia is recruiting a Team Leader Operations at our Battlefield Plastics Recycling Facility in Shrewsbury. You will oversee and maintain facility processes, lead operatives, and monitor quality and safety standards on a rotating shift pattern.

The role requires previous team leadership experience, strong health and safety knowledge, and a commitment to safe, efficient operations in a busy plastics recycling plant. 37.5 hours weekly, in-person work.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar team leader operations role.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee/maintain the working processes of the facility.
• Lead operatives, motivating, assigning tasks and monitoring quality standards.
• Induct and monitor specific specialised contractors to maintain safe operations.
• Ensure environmental permitting and planning permission management practices are adhered to.

The shift allowance rate for any anti-social hours worked is to be confirmed.Location - Battlefield Plastics Recycling Facility, Battlefield Way, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 3EQThe new Plastics Recycling Facility (PRF) is designed to process up to 200,000 tonnes of non-hazardous plastics annually.
