Job summary

Veolia is hiring at the Battlefield Plastics Recycling Facility in Shrewsbury for an operations role. You will perform sampling of materials, complete paperwork, maintain sampling equipment, and support daily site administration and visitor control.

We offer 20 days annual leave (increasing with service), a pension scheme, and health resources. The role includes rotating shifts and requires health and safety awareness and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Similar operational experience.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out sampling of all materials, ensuring samples are representative of the materials being processed in line with our quality protocols
• Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork
• Ensure all sampling equipment is available and serviceable
• Undertake daily administrative duties to support the facility
• Act as a first point of contact for all site visitors, ensuring that they are aware of and adhere to site rules, policies and procedures
• General housekeeping duties across the site to ensure it is kept clean and tidy
• Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Management team
