Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the restaurant team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring memorable customer experiences and consistent operational excellence. You will motivate staff, uphold food safety, and support daily operations to meet goals.

You will develop leadership skills through training and coaching, manage labour and shift performance, and work with the Restaurant General Manager to drive guest satisfaction and business results.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, retail, or similar fast-paced environments.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members during your shift.
• Create a positive, energetic, and inclusive team environment.
• Ensure food quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards are always maintained.
• Support the training, coaching, and development of crew members.
• Help manage labour, productivity, and shift performance.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and ensure restaurants are ready for business.
• Support the Restaurant General Manager in achieving operational and financial goals.
