Job summary

Wendy's in the Northwest region is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the restaurant team during busy shifts, inspire others, and ensure every customer leaves with a smile.

You will oversee food quality and safety, support training and coaching of crew members, manage labour and shift performance, and collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to achieve operational goals while delivering outstanding service. This is a permanent, on-site role with growth opportunities as Wendy's expands.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or retail is preferred.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to high food safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members during your shift.
• Create a positive, energetic, and inclusive team environment.
• Ensure food quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
• Support training, coaching, and development of crew members.
• Help manage labour, productivity, and shift performance.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and prepare for business.
• Support the Restaurant General Manager in achieving operational and financial goals.
